The Plasencia Alma Fuerte Robustus I comes from the flagship Alma Fuerte line produced by Plasencia Cigars, a family with more than five generations of tobacco growing in Nicaragua and Honduras. This cigar uses only Nicaraguan tobacco cultivated on Plasencia farms. It delivers dark chocolate, espresso, cedar and roasted nuts, supported by black pepper and earth through the smoke. Its intensity pairs naturally with espresso, dark roast coffee or aged rum, which complement the cigar’s deep and layered character.

The Plasencia story spans five generations of tobacco growing and cigar making. Over decades the Plasencia family became one of the largest growers of premium cigar tobacco in Central America, supplying leaf to many well-known cigar brands.

After years focused primarily on farming and manufacturing for others, the family launched their own premium line under the Plasencia name. Produced using tobaccos grown on their own estates, the cigars reflect the family’s deep knowledge of cultivation, fermentation, and blending developed through more than 150 years in the tobacco industry.
