The Padrón Family Reserve 45 Years Maduro is a box-pressed toro built to mark the company’s 45th anniversary with tobacco aged at least a decade. It delivers dark roasted coffee, cocoa with spice and cedar that carry steadily from start to finish, and subtle nut tones emerge as the burn progresses. The Maduro wrapper brings a dark, textured smoke that stays consistent through the session, making it a contemplative companion for an aged bourbon, a smoky Scotch, or a rich espresso after an evening meal.

Padrón Cigars:
Padrón Cigars was founded in 1964 by José Orlando Padrón, whose cigar-making roots began in Cuba, where his family first grew tobacco in the late 1800s. After the Cuban Revolution, Padrón fled to the United States in 1961, arriving in Miami with little money but decades of tobacco knowledge and a determination to rebuild. His early years were marked by hardship—working multiple jobs while rolling cigars at night to support his family and reunite them in America.
As the company grew, the Padrón family relocated production to Nicaragua, recognising its ideal climate and soil for growing rich, expressive tobacco. There, they committed to a philosophy of patience and total quality control—aging tobaccos extensively, producing in limited quantities, and rejecting shortcuts or mass-market pressures. This long-term vision led to the creation of some of the industry’s most celebrated cigars, including the 1964 Anniversary Series and 1926 Series, both released to mark major family milestones.
